After a break of almost 20 years, the time has finally come… At last I’m stepping out into the open with my work. Why only now? No idea — I’ve done so many things in my life that I probably never took the time before. But now it’s here. This is where you’ll find everything that moves me: what I made in the past, what I’m working on now, and above all… what drives me musically.

Feel free to scroll through my old ’80s tracks, made on an Atari — yes, really, those good old days, just for fun. Watch my performance with Deluxe when, as an 18-year-old girl, I was singing at Parkzicht in Rotterdam. Or check out the video clips I made with the all-female band Heavy Emanuelle. It was all quite a while ago, but it’s still wonderful to look back at those creative moments.

Now:
These days I write and produce my music in my own studio and take you along in what I create. The music and videos of “now” give you a glimpse into my living-room concerts and the small theatres where I perform.

My performances are never just serious. Of course people listen, but there’s also room for a joke, a witty remark, an interactive moment — it’s relaxed, and above all, enjoyable. And yes, sometimes there’s room for a tear during the more sensitive pieces.
